| Haven't posted in a while, figured now is as good a time as any. Bowl trip went well. Had lots of fun hanging out with Andy. Lots of work this quarter for my classes, but I think I'll manage. I'm going to L.A. over the summer to see Eric Whitacre's "Paradise Lost"!!!!!! I'm hella excied about it. I'll get to see my cousin David in Vegas as well . Trying to get a plan together to go to Texas over spring break to see my bro Jim. It'd be nice to have a travel buddy. We'll see how that works out.
Life's treating me fairly well, just chillin, taking things in stride as they come to me. Not trying too hard and not just sitting idle, so we'll see where this takes me. I can't believe I'm done with marching band. Toronto was my last game. Probably a good thing that I'm going to hang up the mallets. My chronic tendonitis has been really bad again this year (started freshman year playing tenors)

| Exam week is going to kick my ass.... One paper down. Left to go: - French: exam tomorrow at 10:30am
- Score Reading: piano proficiency (prepared and sight reading) playing exam tomorrow at 2:30pm (this one scares me)
- Senior Research: term paper (10-12 pages) due Thursday between 1:30 and 3:30pm (ahhh)
- Analysis of 20th Century Music: musical analysis paper (2+ pages) due Thursday no later then 5pm And I work this week off and on as well. Should be fun. Can't wait for break to finally be here :-/ Good luck this week everyone | | |
| SO I have two piano "recitals" today. My piano studio class for actual piano, and then playing three part scores on piano for Score Reading. Should be fun. Keeping busy, staying up too late, being too tired. That's really about it that's going on. Thing I'd like to remember recently: Relaxing, taking walks, and good conversations Looking forward: The quarter's almost over Time for the final push  I need a new book to read, I finished my last one, "The Gospel according to Zen" | | |
